My name is Claire and I am passionate about balancing strength, nutrition, and a bit of fun (because what is life without a cookie here and there). If you’re interested in learning tips about weightlifting, nourishing your body with whole foods, and indulging in foods worth their weight you’ve come to the right place!

Why I Started This Blog…

I started this blog to share my love for fitness and food and to show that building a strong, healthy body doesn’t have to mean giving up the joy of delicious treats. Whether you’re looking for workout tips, recipes packed with nutrients, or desserts that are too good to pass up I’ve got something for you.

A little personal…

I was a competitive swimmer for all of my adolescent and primitive years. All I knew was swimming and carbs. Once that chapter in life came to an end I taught myself how to weight train and jumped into competitive powerlifting. I competed nationally and was so excited to continue training.

However, in June of 2024, I fractured a rib in the gym and my body was not healing. This was a major setback in my life and I felt powerless. I had to give up powerlifting in order to heal my body and that led to where I am now… living.

Finding peace without athletic validation is a struggle that isn’t talked about enough but also figuring out how to still stay active and healthy is a challenge. I have learned a lot throughout these struggles and I have also discovered a passion and talent for baking.

These two interests of mine have inspired this blog and I hope that I can help at least one person who wants to create a happier, healthier, balanced life.
