Easy Date Caramel
If you’re looking for a sweet, whole-food alternative to conventional caramel, date caramel is here for you! This simple recipe is smooth, naturally sweet, and packed with fiber. Plus, it only requires two ingredients: Medjool dates and milk (or your preferred non-dairy option). You can whip it up in minutes, making it a go-to option for healthier desserts or snacks.
Now, Let’s be honest here. This is not an exact caramel dupe. Nothing is. Caramel is straight sugar and butter. Unbeatable. But this is a pretty good alternative if you are looking for something a little more blood-sugar-friendly
Why dates?
They’re high in fiber, which can help balance blood sugar, and contain potassium, magnesium, and B-vitamins to support energy and muscle recovery—perfect for the active lifestyle.
They are also just delicious
What to put it on?
Top your oatmeal or yogurt for a naturally sweet, fiber-rich boost.
Dip apple slices or bananas for a snack that feels like dessert.
Add to your protein shakes or smoothies for a hint of caramel sweetness.
Put on top of toast or pancakes for a sweet breakfast
