Date Caramel
Whole foods, smooth, sweet, natures caramel

- 1 cup Pitted Medjool Dates (about 10-12)
- 2 tbsp milk plant-based or dairy
- 1 dash salt
Soak pitted dates in 1½ cups of boiling water for 20 minutes
Drain water from dates and place dates into blender with milk and salt.
Blend until smooth and creamy, add more milk if you want it to be looser
Store in an air-tight container in the fridge for 2-3 weeks or in the freezer for up to 3 months (I store mine in an old jam jar)
